Studio X @ The Regent’s Place Health Club is home to the most inspiring, energetic and fun group exercise classes in London. From Ashtanga Yoga to Zumba and everything in between, there is something to suit all tastes, whatever your passion.

Studio X @ The Regent’s Place Health Club has three dedicated studios featuring over 80 dynamic, high energy and holistic Yoga and Pilates classes every week, in addition to a full programme of Express Classes carried out on the gym floor including Power Plate, Boxing and Core Conditioning.

Class Cancellation Policy

Please be sure to cancel a class you cannot attend, so that the space is freed up for a fellow member. Classes must be cancelled at least 1 hour before the class start time, and any members who cancel late will be issued a strike on their booking. 3 strikes will result in a class booking ban for a period of 10 days.

Class Descriptions 

Body Attack

BODYATTACK™ is the sports-inspired cardio workout for building strength and stamina. This high-energy interval training class combines athletic aerobic movements with strength and stabilization exercises. Dynamic instructors and powerful music motivate everyone towards their fitness goals - from the weekend athlete to the hard-core competitor! Like all the LES MILLS™ programmes, a new BODYATTACK™ class is released every three months with new music and choreography.

Body Balance

BODYBALANCE is the Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates workout that builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centered and calm. Controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses to music create a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance. Like all the LES MILLS™ programmes, a new BODYBALANCE™ class is released every three months with new music and choreography.

Body Combat

Step into a BODYCOMBAT workout and you’ll punch and kick your way to fitness, burning up to 740 calories* along the way. This high-energy martial-arts inspired workout is totally non-contact and there are no complex moves to master. One of our LES MILLS™ qualified instructors will challenge you to up the intensity and motivate you to make the most of every round. You’ll release stress, have a blast and feel like a champ.

Body Pump

BODYPUMP™ is for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast.

Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout. It will burn up to 430 calories*. Instructors will coach you through the scientifically proven moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music – helping you achieve much more than on your own! You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more.

Circuits

Circuit training is a fast-paced class in which you do one exercise for 30 seconds to 5 minutes and then move on to another exercise. It’s like a game of musical chairs: Everyone begins at a station, and when the instructor yells “Time!” everyone moves to the next free station.
It's a great way to build up your fitness and our team bring all their usual passion, expertise and verve to ensure you'll not only be getting fitter you'll also have a great time.

Core Extreme

Health and strength start with the core. We will help you build a more stable, powerful abdomen and lower back to improve fitness, straighten posture and provide a foundation for an active daily life.

Dance Fitness

A hot sweaty dance class burn off those calories with all your favourite chart hits.

GRIT Cardio

Designed to burn fat and rapidly improve athletic capability, this explosive 30-minute team training session combines high impact body weight exercises and uses no equipment.

GRIT Plyo

LES MILLS GRIT™ Plyo is an intense plyometric-based workout that gets results fast!

Combining the principles of plyometrics and power agility training, these 30-minute team training sessions on a bench will build a powerful, agile and athletic body.

The scientifically backed and comprehensively tested training routine regimen is supported by a highly-trained coach who is down on the floor with you, pushing you to your limit and making certain that you get results.

GRIT Strength

Using the Les Mills SMARTBAR™, weight plates and the bench, LES MILLS GRIT™ Strength is an intense 30-minute team training session that will blast all major muscle groups and take your training to the next level.

1. Builds strength and tones lean muscle.
2. Puts your metabolism into overdrive meaning you are still burning fat hours after your workout.
3.Stimulates the production of growth hormone, which will help reduce fat and help develop lean muscle.

Group Cycling

Probably the most fun you can have on a bike. Our motivational instructors will ensure you push yourself to your own limits in this fast paced class, ramp up the resistance and you can literally feel the caories burning away. Energising, exhilarating and can be enjoyed by anyone, whatever your fitness level. Ideal for sculpting, toning and weight-loss.

HIIT

HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training and it does pretty much what it says on the tin. It  is a total body, heart pumping, aerobic and strength conditioning workout. This interval-based class combines full-body strength training with high intensity cardio bursts designed to tone your body, improve your endurance and clear your mind.

Insanity

INSANITY™ classes are based around max interval training and are packed with cardio and plyometric drills on top of challenging intervals of strength, power, resistance and core training which can burn up to 1000 calories in one hour.

Regent's Bootcamp

A full body, high intensity workout . This class will combine sprints on treadmill and resistance exercises, resulting in huge calorie expenditure, great for fat loss, fitness sculpting and toning.

RPM

RPM™ is our indoor cycling class, set to the rhythm of motivating music. Burn up to 620 calories* a workout and get fit fast.

Learn all the basic cycling moves like standing up, sitting down, changing hand positions, speeding up and slowing down. You control your own resistance levels and sprint speed so you can build up your training level over time. If you want a true sense of achievement, get into a RPM class today.

Zumba

Latin and international music fused to create a booty shaking workout. Dance your socks off in this fun energetic class.

All classes featured in Studio X @ The Regent’s Place Health Club are included in the membership and open to non-members on a Pay as You Go basis.
